Do a search. The K&N is safest, but others will bugger your MAF sensor.
IMO, they do naff all unless you have a remaped ECU and a good cold air feed. And they sound like a chieftain tanks.

None of them. Get a green/blue panel from TSL or an STi panel filter instead unless you are wanting monster hp. Less potential for sh*gging the MAF sensor (or worse) - which is one of the known problems with the 99/00 MY motors.

If you want the induction noise K and N is the safest bet but you are putting your MAF at risk, it'll cost around £80 for a new MAF if you damage your old one. If you just want it for easy breathing the ITG or STi panel filter that fits in your original box are best.
With an MY'99 car, there is little point in a n induction kit as
the turbo will run out of puff before the induction kit is required. So bigger turbo first, FMIC then induction if you really want one.

As above, I'd recommend a K&N, Green or STi panel filter. Unless you're also fitting a stack of accompanying mods (big turbo, injectors, fuel pump, remap etc.), there's no real advantage to be gained from a cone filter, and a couple of potentially serious problems you can cause if you're not careful.
You'd need a TeK3 remap for the APS CAK, which would be around £700, maybe more given that it needs custom MAF scaling added.
