Unhappy

Guys I seem to have a problem in that when I rev up to 3000rpm the car seems to cut back immediately. Its a intermittent problem sometimes it doesnt happen at all and sometimes its higher up the rev range ie 4000rpm or 5000rpm followed by a clicking noise.

Anyone had experience of this before. My local garage said it was fixed after I had the knock sensor/lamda sensor and maf sensor changed but when I test drove it it was stilling cutting back so I refused to take the car.Is it something simple as It seems that Im changing allsorts and feel like I might be taken for ride?

Yours help would be appreciated guys.
