hi people ime looking to mod me imported 93 impreza,i just wonderd what i can do to an impreza of that age.It is currently running at 250bhp and 235 torque ime hopeing to get it up to around 300bhp mark if pos.

I got 93 import wrx too!
I would start with decat system and scooby chip and airfilter change, this will give the old girl quite a bit of life!
I was also lucky to have a Z4 ECU not the original, 260ps not 240ps. The little jap who had mine upgraded it!!!!
I put a similar thread on earlier this week asking about next mods have a read it mite give you some more ideas!

i once had a prob with my ecu it wasnt letting the car run at full boost and they put someting in called a babyboard it raised the power by 10 bhp,they said it was the only thing for a scooby of that age,is the scooby ecu the same then if not how much will it raise the power.

suspension, geometry. when i had my 93wrx, mods to engine were only full exhaust and filter with mini scoop. all else were std but suspension were struted up to the max eg upper lower front rear braces with coilovers and a set of brembos. even wheels were left std 16".

happy to say went round the track quicker than some high powered scoobs.

moreover, for that age, not worth spending loads on engine mods. better to save a get another scoob to trash around.

 

Equal length manifold will be my next purchase (approx 25-30 BHP gain)

Try a Tek3 chip ........ increases boost, fuel and air ratios , so the engine is still 'safe' (I have already had this done, and I can woop standard STi5 V limited's )
