Question

I'm looking to adorn the rear of my car with a fat pipe to replace the existing Twin McDonalds straws. I am keen on the Ninja, because of the price and by all accounts it’s not ridiculously loud.

I currently have a Dawes at 1bar, ive blanked the solenoid pipe work etc, and now have constant boost without any fluctuation. I have a Scooby sport down pipe that has removed the restrictive dustbin of a CAT too. Filter, leads plugs etc.

So, can I expect faster spool up or smoother power delivery or will this just be noise? Which I agree is worth the money by itself.

the rear box will probably give you more noise than power. Nominal power increases from rear boxes only amount to around 3-5 bhp [if lucky].
You would need to replace the intermediate sections "as well as" to get any better figures.

Wink

Or alternatively give Ian at Hayward & Scott a call on 01268 727256, he can always make something special that meets your needs.

I HAVE A NINJA ON MY 93 WRX WITH FULL DECAT. ITS QUITE LOUD. I HAD A 4" PECO BACK BOX ON MINE BEFORE, WHEN I CHANGED TO THE NIJA I WAS VERY IMPRESSED AND HAVE HAD LOADS OF COMPLIMENTS ON THE SOUND OF IT. I LOVE IT BUT IT MAY BE A BIT LOUD FOR SOME. TRY THE SCOOBY WORLD WEB SITE. I THINK THEY HAVE SOUND CLIPS OF THEM ON THERE MATE.
