Unhappy

1999 STI V5.

The heater vents will only blow on the floor regardless of where the dial is turned too, it can be set to blow on the screen, but still coming out full blast at my feet

Any ideas? Its a total bitch de-misting the front screen with no air blowing on the bloody thing!

Cheers in advance

Paul

Sounds as if one of the link bars have come adrift on the side of the heater unit, you should be able to see them on the sides of the heater and simply "click" it back on.

That sounds easy, where is the heater unit? Behind the stereo?

What do i need to remove?

Cheers

either remoce the glove box on L/h side, or you might be able to see some of the links on the drivers side from sticking your head under the dash "before" you start taking stuff off.

IIRC the temperature vent is on the drivers side and the direction control is on the passenger side but I think you will have to remove the glove box
