Looking to buy a White Version 1-3 Impreza asap - should I get a regular UK WRX or is it def' worth saving a few more pennies and getting the STi (RA) import instead.

There doesn't really seam to be that much difference in price between UK WRX and the imported STi models around at the mo.

Look into the insurance for the imported sti first, it could turn out to be a headache.

Cool

STi STi STi!

V3 with the facelift, cheap to buy, 280 ish bhp solid clutch, classic looks, how could you not be tempted?

Mines all modified so a zillion time more fun.
I know someone with a wild one for sale, but not mine.
Graham.

Wink

Its V5's that blow up

Think of the forged pistons, carbon braces, nice STi seats, 20 extra bhp, different gear ratios, etc

WRX is no slouch though.

UK cars were not badged WRX until 2001. If its a classic shape with WRX on it, its a Jap import.
