Question

Since i've not asked any random questions in a while here's one...

Does anyone know the MON rating of optimax compared to that of you're average 98RON fuel?

John Banks is banned from answering this, since he seems to answer every question i post (joking mate ).

Just out of curiosity btw.

Dave.

Good question. Haven't seen any specs.

Good old 98RON SUL used to be 89MON I think, whereas new 97RON SUL is more like 87-88.

MON should be a more indicitive number of how the fuel will performe under pressure. Racing fuels often have a MON just a few points lower that RON, so the are much better than they at first seem.
