Can someone tell me what an UP-PIPE is and what a DOWN-PIPE is?

Up-pipe - connects the headers (which come from your exhaust ports) to the turbo.

Down pipe - takes the exhust gas (after it has spun the turbo) from the turbo and connects to the exhaust system.
