oil leak for 3rd time
#1
my car is leaking oil again today after being fixed 2 weeks ago.
the last 2 times it was the camshaft seal so i can pretty much conclude is this 1 again smoking from the same area.last time i went they said if it went again you could have an oil pressure problem(i dont no nothing about stuff).
when the wife picked it up last time they said it could be the dump valve causing the problem (blitz ssdv) but im pretty sure the oil dont go no where near them they just let out the excess air.
it only seems to blow the seal when pushing hardish i was changing down a gear to get round cars on single lanes but it shouldnt blow this has only been going on in the last 4k miles and the dump valve has been on for a good 30k.
is there anything i can buy to help the situation all i can think of is a gauge and oil cooler
all comments greatly appreciated

Your rings could be getting a little worn allowing the compression gasses to "blow by" the rings into the crancase, creating enough pressure to pop out the odd oil seal.
Would only happen when "on a mission" as you described.
Would be worth having a leak down test done to see if that's the case.
Make sure when the seal is re-fitted it is "glued" into place and not just tapped in the hole ! (special silicone based adhesive)
Andy
IMO the mech who "advised" lol you of it being the dump valves fault.... is talking from his ARIS !

Might be a good idea to check to make sure the crankcase ventilation and rocker cover ventilation pipes are not blocked causing excessive pressures in the crankcase. They can become gunged up over periods of time.
