For a 22b it was something like 1100 plus vat for gems & 350 to map & put in various parts that make up the antilag kit.....

Other versions available like Motec/Pectel/Link?.....not sure on prices

Think that should read...

"And get ready for a new turbo on a regular basis"

There are actually several ways of reducing Turbo lag and spool time, but dumping raw fuel, reducing the spark advance and adding a bit of extra air as they do in WRC will severly reduce the life of the turbo due to the amount of heat generated as in effect you're basically creating a mini jet engine... Does look and sound bloody cool though

All depends on how the ALS is setup. If setup appropriately, there is no reason for the turbo to die too soon.

If you are wanting 1 bar at idle, then yes, you will have no turb very soon. Also the headers get very hot, so tubular headers have a hard time.

Talking about mini jet engines, did you see someone turn a turbo into a get engine on TV.

They basically put a combustion chamber between the compressor outlet and the impeller inlet, it worked too !!!
They even tried to add an afterburner to it but it did not work. The ram jet built by the other team won though.
