I have just purchased a ppp ecu and wanted to confirm it’s ok as it has a pink STi sticker on it as well as a Prodrive label.

Do all ppp ecu’s have an STi sticker on them??

I think I may have read somewhere that Prodrive use an STi ecu for their ppp upgrade but I thought the UK and Jap STi ecu’s are not compatible?

It is now fitted in the car and seems to be running ok.
As I don’t have a boost gauge fitted I’m not sure what boost it running but it definitely feels quicker.

Finally, the ecu I removed from the car was (according to the label) an AE800.
I was expecting an AE802.

Does this sound right for a MY99 RB5? I am not the first owner so can’t say for sure it’s not been played with before I got it, but I don’t think it has.

Thanks,

Graham

A 99 car would have either a AE800 or AE801. MY00 an AE802
Yes the PPP ECU is a STi ECU with Prodrive stickers.
