Question

I've fitted a TEK2 to my car today. I also fitted a boost gauge to check the differences. This is what I found:

Peak boost in 2nd and 3rd gear using TEK2 is 15psi
Peak boost in 2nd and 3rd gear using AE801 is 12/13psi

Does this sound right? To be honest I'm not noticing much difference, but haven't had a chance to take the car over 70mph (keep running out of road)

Sounds about right, in higher gears, targets are 16.0 for Tek 2 and 13.7 for AE801. AE801 runs less timing. Tek 2 runs slightly richer fuelling, but this is because it runs higher boost, at similar boost levels it runs similar fuelling on full load.
