Cool

I am thinking about uprating my Fuel pump from the standard one on the MY00 to a 400bhp Bosch one as I can not see me needing anything bigger tahn that.

Can I just exchange these two pumps and go or is there anything else that needs changing to compensate for the bigger pump.

Also what size injectors would a standard EU model MY00 Impreza GT have? if they are less that 550ccm, will I see any differences buy upgrading to 550ccm or 850ccm.

Cheers

Steve

A bigger fuel pump is a good idea if you're modding at all. I have no experence with the GT but it seems most,if not all the turbo's come with 440's as standard.

I intend to go to 340bhp on 440's although some people have recomended 550's for this power.

If you do change to 550's i hear the ecu is not so happy about it. I remember someone saying something about cold start/hot start or idle control was a bit off with 550's i don't remember which (not much use to you then )

If the fuel pump is for the impreza it should be a direct fit with maybe some soldering to do for the connectors.
