Question

Will an Sti 7 fuel pump fit into an MY98 classic Impreza, and would it actually be an upgrade over the standard ?

Would I need also to change the regulator ?

Anyone know what the flow and pressure of the standard fuel pump is in the My98 and for the Sti 7 ?

I'd imagine a Walbro on a standard reg would overfuel.

has anyone actually done this? what exactly does slight difference in fitment mean?

I know about the walbro option, but I have an sti pump, and want to give it my friend for his 94 impreza, but only if it will fit.

with a walbro he might need to change the regulator too, but with an sti pump, he might not need to
