I am looking for an uprated clutch that is not for a Scoob. If the rating is 450 kg is there any way I can calculate what the max BHP or torque would be ?

If I get a metal paddle clutch are these a real pain in traffic ?

Many Thanks

David

David, maybe this helps. Firstly, the 'Kg' you state is not complete. for torque the units can be Lb ft (pounds feet) Kg m (kilogram meters). To convert roughly just look on a torque wrench scale.
Secondly, I ran my tweeked 911 on a ceramic paddle clutch with a sprung center, just about bearable in traffic (only just) bloody great for full blast starts!
If the driven plate does not have a sprung center is will murder your box and your nerves. Don't do it!
Graham.
