Whats the best method of protecting doors and door edges on a MY01?

(I have quite a narrow drive and don't want to ruin my new car!!!)

 

Subaru sell side protection strips which do the job for about 50 quid. They look a bit cumbersome but once they're fitted they look fine, certainly better than a car with loads of scrapes/dents down each side

Do a search in the members gallery for side protection strips and you'll see a few examples. There was a few piccies of a P1 which had some different, colour-coded ones which looked good too.
