errr you havent got a jap import with a speed restrictor on have you ??

IMO if it was an overboost problem you would hit fuel cut under heavy acceleration in all gears (it feels like you have turned the ignition off for a split second)

I have a my95 WRX, recently I have put a tsl group a downpipe & a Blitz nur spec r cat back exhaust. When I get to about 120 mph ish the engine seems to stop running for a second & then carrys on but I have never pushed it to go further. It feels like some one presses the brakes.... The first time this happened I shat myself. This also happens to my mate car which also runs decat exhaust.. Is there anything I can do to stop this ?? I have it booked in at Well Lane Turbo Centre on 22nd. Any advice ??

Cheers
Dan

Again new to this but saw a thread somewhere about this.

Basically if it feels like your pressing the brakes it could be overboosting. I think this is when the ECU cuts the boost..

I would get it checked out ASAP and avoid running high speeds until you do. At that revs any detonation etc could cause some rather nasty issues.
