MY99 STi version 5 normally boosts to 1 bar, but tonight it went up to 1 bar then droped to 0.5 bar and thats all it went to the rest of the way home...

After this I stopped to fill up with Super unleaded (97 ron as thats all there is arond here, and it had normal 95 ron in prior to this)as the tank was getting low, still the same lack of boost.

There is a ****ty adjustable bleed valve in line with the pipe from the actuator, which i may remove and also check the rest of the pipe work for leaks.

I've only had the car just over 2 weeks, been fine upto now...

Any ideas guys?

It's limp home mode.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't you use some decent petrol for your toy, preferably with octane booster if it wasn't remapped to suit crappy fuel?

As a result ECU has retarded ignition trying to eliminate det. As this wasn't enough it has shut down boost to keep your engine alive.

ECU has been remapped to run on super, I had to put £10 of 95 ron in the other day as there was no super availible. I ran the tank right down before filling with super, does the ecu need resetting or will it be ok the next time I drive it?...

I'm new to the Scooby scene, I'm used to ****ty RS turbo's...

If its an import and hasn't been mapped for uk fuel then yes you should be using optimax+octane boost..
Best one seems to be NF race...
