Just fitted a SECS data monitor, and turbo boost displays a peak value of 1.10 Bar. Is this correct as i thought a standard UK car (bar a full decat exhaust) should be running approx. 0.8Bar?
Anyone got any ideas?

SECS reads from the ECU and will only depend on MAP sensor accuracy which is typically +- 1 or 2% although I found no precise info on the Scooby sensor.
If a MY99/00, target boost is 13.7 PSI, an overboost up to 1 PSI above that is acceptable. More than that and the boost control is undesirably underdamped and should be corrected.
