I have a problem on my 95wrx, its running only at 12 psi and when the car rests for a while the clutch slips for the first few miles. This however clears up until I stop again for half hr or so. Ive has a new clutch fitted but the problem is still here!!! couls there be something leaking onto the plate?? also the clutch smells quite often!! its only 2wks old so cannot be on its way out again can it?? Please help soon!!

 

dont know if it helps but my new clutch on my93 wrx smells and also makes a whining noise. no problem with slipping or boost though. mines going back for a new thrust bearing as that seems to be the problem. did they change yours when fitting the clutch and which clutch did you have fitted( ap racing for me! )? if your not happy take it back and tell them, there expensive enough as it is!! also u can have problems with your flywheel when a new clutch is fitted. was it skimmed or replaced? i had mine replaced along with the clutch. hope this helps a little. pumpers.
