Hi,

Quick query here - where are the jacking points on a 5 door STI ? I don't have any Subaru documentation, and as I plan to fir my new alloys this weekend, I thought I'd better check, before I damage something expensive !

Apologies if this has been answered before .....

At the front and rear of the side sills.
If you have a trolley jack you can use the towing hooks either side at the front and the diff at the rear.
Remember to use axle stands though...

Thanks for the reply - are you sure about the diff ? I seem to remember somewhere on this BB about not doing this... I could be wrong, mind you !

Cheers

Depending upon age & the last time the wheels were off the car they may have corroded on, meaning when you take the nuts off, the wheels will be stuck on, make sure you use axel stands, from the inside of the wheel you will need to bang the tyres to unstuck the wheels.

Using the diff is OK, just dont leave it sitting up in the air for hours.
