Bump Steer Mod

AFAIK this can only be done at Powerstation to their secret recipe - and its much more than setting toe in/out, camber etc.
It involves (in simple terms) putting shims between the steering rack and (whatever) it mounts on so that *some part of* the suspension geometry does't change as the compression of the front springs/dampers changes.
Well targetted use of

I am not an expert in this field.
But there is nothing special about what powerstation are doing. You can buy bump steer guages from demon tweeks, and have been able to for ages.
I am not certain but I believe bump steer to be the change in tow in or tow out, caused by the wheel being moved up and down.
If you remove bumpsteer, then the movement of the suspension should not change the steering angle of the wheel at all????
They remove bumpsteer in the way described above.
No disrepect to them intended. They did mine, and I am ecstatic with the results. It is just ufortunate that others dont carry out the service as people have to tracel to cheltenham, which isnt always convenient.
