Engine cuts out after refuelling...
#1
Just wondered if anyone has had problems with the engine cutting out. I've had this happen once a week, or so, for the last couple of months.
Generally it happens when I stop and fill up with petrol. Then when I restart the car (which is still warm) the engine will catch, start to idle and then revs will gradually reduce down until it stalls. Using the accelerator doesn't seem to catch it.
Yesterday it happened when the car hadn't been driven for hours BUT it was a hot afternoon.
Car is an RB5 WRSport (PPP). It had a service a week ago and they replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor (no idea what that does!) which was showing up as faulty.
Its difficult to take it back as its quite intermittent and I don't really want to leave the car there for a few days.
Any suggestions?
