Whilst i was undoing my wheel nuts i found one of them to be really tight,so me being a cheif muppet thought that if i gave it a sharp turn with the wheel brace i might break the seal and it would undo as the others did.So i gave it a sharp turn and it snapped (off). Is it safe to drive with just 4 bolts holding the wheel on or will i need a new hub.I can get a wheel nut on just about to biting point on the snapped stud will this suffice (need a new wheel nut first)
Cheers

Darren,

I done exactly the same, I drove round for 4 days with only 4 studs & nuts holding on and it was fine. No problem with that..

You will not need a new wheel hub, just a new stud, I had one done at my local garage and the stud was only £5 I think.

Don't panic mate, but do get it sorted just for peace of mind.
