Anyone have a problem with the windows misting up ? The rear side windows seem to mist up very easily on my MY99 5 door.
The dealer thought it may be due to the pollen filter being clogged up, but this doesn't sound right. Can the heater unit fill with water ?

Cheers

Sorry if I am stating the obvious, but have you made sure that the re-circulation is set to off i.e. the air goes in and straight out?

It was one of the only useful things that the dealer told me when I got the car (that and "watch out for people following you home!) and I have left it on before causing rapid steaming up!

Doh !

I had the heater set to re-circulate so thats probably the cause. Thanks Peter next time I'm out in it I'll see what happens.

Check the boot for puddles . It is not unknown for scoobs to leak into the boot , especially around the tail lights .

Thanks for that info. I have been trying to work out why mine had suddenly started to mist up. Mine was set to re circulate as well.

Cheers John
