Unhappy

Can any one help a complete doughnut?

My boot release isn't working any more, and although it doesn't sound drastic it ain't arf annoying when you want to open up the boot without turning of the friggin engine!

I don't think the cable has snapped I just think it has unclipped itself. What's the easiest way to access this ?

Cheers,
Dazzler

Open the boot (using the key), and by the lock is a lever.

You must have knock the lever! I think you need to pull the lever down (but I'm too lazy to go the garage to check)

Which ever way it is, more it the other way!

Hope this helps

Cheers for the quick reply Andy.

I did check that briefly the first time I tried to do something about it, but couldn't see the cable. Probably didn't help that it was during the twilight hours ! I'll check again.

B,

The dealer pointed it out when I bought the car!

Also I use have a lot of stereo, and the only way into the boot was the boot (as there was a big wooden board stopping access to the boot from the cabin)

I use it when parking in dodgy areas!!

Cool

Can't be long before your electric windows (except the drivers) stop working

I know mine did after a service and I nearly got back to the dealers before I sussed what that little button by the window switches did. D'oh

Phew, you chaps have made me feel a little better now.

All above points duly noted so I don't run the risk of being muppetized.

Cheers all.

I presume the switch on the boot is there to stop people getting into the boot if they break into the car, funny how you can get into the boot by pulling down the rear seats
