From: Ibiza TDI - Causing a smokescreen on a back road near you
Hi, i'm new to this forum and am looking at getting an Impreza in the next couple of months. Does anyone know of a buyers guide, or can anyone recommend what to get? I will have between £15k and £17k - but I haven't got a clue about all the different models...

Welcome to the forum James 
. The SIDC's FAQ is a good place to start for the various models. However, this only covers cars up to the 2000 model-year Imprezas. For £15k+ you could have pretty much any 'classic' (i.e. old shape) Impreza, apart from the P1. Unfortunately I don't know of an equivalent guide for new-age cars.
