maf sensor clicking

Hi
Can anybody please tell me if the maf sensor is supposed to make a clicking noise on very light throttle as i can hear mine when under the bonnet and just open the throttle very slightly. it is definatly the maf & not the boost control solinoid.

Huh? The MAF doesn't have any moveable parts in it to make a clicking sound! Where exactly is the sound coming from?

I think you will find it is your solenoid.
MAF's don't make noise.
