Hi there
I have a 1998 impreza sport (non-turbo)
i have oil leaking out of the timing cover and burning on the exhaust !
Can anyone tell me which seals leak from behind here and could it be anything apart from seals?
Are the jobs required to cure the leaks difficult ?
and can they all be done with the engine in the car.
hope someone can help .....
many thanks

The main front crank seal, and cam seals are behind the covers. Most likely to be the crank seal, which sits in the front of the oil pump.
