30k quote of £292 for service is this expensive

hi just wondering about this quote ive had from a local rally mechanics for a 30k service to my scooby wrx import.This includes new belts,plugs,and ALL THE USUAL is £292 a bit on the steep side for a non dealer??

belts - £30+ not inc cam belt if needed..

Air filter - £15-20

Plugs - £35

Oil - £30-40

Oil filter - £7

labour..???

Just paid £405 for my 30 from main dealer. No belts changed either.

Welcome to the world of owning an expensive car
If you think that just under 300 quid is expensive, you could be in for a shock at some of the "bigger" services your going to encounter
Most of what your looking at will be labour, your diff oil/gearbox oil is changed at 30k, you will have new spark plugs in there, that takes 40+ mins to do as you need to remove a few items in the engine bay to reach them, the engine/oil filter isnt a slow job and you will probably be charged 1 hrs labour for that, so looking at 4 hours labour plus parts, labour is normally around 35-40 and hour (more from a dealer sometimes ) so not bad really
