A stone has shagged my aircon compressor - SGT say about £500 fitted. Great....

Does anyone know if they can be repaired, or if a second hand one could be available?

Have a look in the back of car magazines and you should see a few air conditioning specialists. They offer a brand new system (for a car without a/c) for under a grand and re-gassings etc. I'm sure you'll be able to get a compressor cheaper than £500.

A stone will not damage your compressor,it is the condenser that has been damaged.My company have changed 4 or 5 this summer for Park lane and we have to use the genuine part as no pattern part is available yet.(we are working on this).
