Hiya all

I have just brought a Scooby an the interior boot pop don't work an had a look at it an the cable has stretched from what i can see do any of you know how i can adjust it?

On the boot part of the catch, there's a little bit of metal, have a look, move it the other way to what it is, and the lever should work, they have this so that you can lock stuff in the boot, thats not then accesable from in the car, but, if you don't have folding rear seats, make sure it works before you close the boot..

Have done that mate it still don't work when you look inside the boot catch it looks as if the cable for it is stretched!!

I had the same problem with my 03WRX. Just left it alone and kept pulling the leaver, now all is well it just needs wearing in.

 

i have sorted it now the little bit that gets pushed across to pop it was a little bent an the catch was just missin it when the cable was Pulled
