Error message 24 on Check engine light?

Does anyone know what error message 24 is on the check engine light?
97 STi3 is the model.

According to the info that Ive got code 24 is Idle air control solenoid not functioning

Thanks John - that would explain why after a run on the motorway (2hrs) it has died.

Apparently th setting of the idle valve is critical to the overall performance of the car. they must be set using a select monitor.
