ADVICE NEEDED ON TURBO TIMERS,A FRIEND OF MINE HAS AN MY99 UK IMPREZA AND HAS JUST BOUGHT A GREDDY FULL AUTO TIMER.HE HAS FITTED TIMER,BUT HAS BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH GETTING THE ALARM AND IMMOBILIZER TO WORK.MY UNDERSTANDING OF THE POINT OF A TURBO TIMER IS THAT YOU CAN SET THE TIMER,LOCK AND ALARM THE CAR,AND WALK AWAY,BUT THIS IS JUST NOT HAPPENING.IF THIS IS THE CASE WHAT IS THE POINT OF A TIMER,YOU MAY AS WELL SIT IN THE CAR,LOOK AT YOUR WATCH,AND SAVE YOURSELF £140 !

i've been told you can't use the alarm when the tt is on, which is what i do. just lock the car as normal and go back when it has gone off an press the button on the fob. ok it isn't ideal, but it's what you have to do, so it's what you do.

hope this helps
