I'm owning a MY 99 Turbo and I have the high level rear wing fitted (the same one as on the Japanese ver. V WRX)

Being extremely fussy, I wanted to know if anybody else has this wing fitted, or even possesses a WRX ver.V because I noticed that it bounces and wobbles slightly as the car drives over bad road surface!I had the chance to test a WRX ver. VI on my last visit to Japan and this wing doesn't move at all!!

Please somebody let me know if this is normal or if there's really a problem with my wing?

Thanks in advance,

Ramon

The spoiler comes as standard on a my Ver5 STi Type R. Even with the standard firm/hard suspension, it does wobble a bit over bumps...even minor ones! Rest assured, it's normal...that spoiler is only aerodynamically effective at high speed.

If u see the EVO IV-VI spoilers, they all have that middle "bit" which forms the middle base and prevents that high spoiler from wobbling too much...

I like mine the way it is...

Thanks, Scooby for your information!
Well,...maybe I'm being too fuzzy!?

Anyway, anybody want to fit the high wing and being fuzzy like me, go for the version 6 wing as it doesn't wobble at all!
Maybe this is one of the improvements they made from ver.5 to 6!?

Thanks,

Ramon
