Hi Guys

I have a MY96 Legacy wagon and it idle's very smoothly when the air con is off but as soon as I turn it on and the compressor is running the cars motor rocks from side to side and it almost sounds like it has an occasional miss. Any ideas?

Could either be the idle speed is a bit too low set for the air con, or is there a problem with the air con pump, maybe a siezing bearing, causing it to slow the engine down.
