Question

I had a new clutch fitted 500 miles ago (garage) and since then over time the clutch cable has become very "loose" at the top 20mm.

Can the cable be adjusted to take out the play?
easy to do , or take back to Garage?

Help much appreciated.

Yep, simply release the locknut and then adjust the larger sized nut, to take out some of the free play but do not take out all of it otherwise the clutch will start to become loaded.

I have normally found that the "fitting garage" will carry out an initial adjustment "FOC" as a goodwill thing.

Turbos are hydraulic, no cable.
Non turbo cars are cable clutch.
