Checking under the bonnet and fishing out a few leaves and dead foliage that my intercooler scoop had allowed in , I have noticed that a few rows of the fins of the intercooler have been mashed flat !

This doesn't look good and from my very basic knowledge of car mecahnics I'm lead to understand that this might cause air flow problems .

Does anybody know of any products that fit over the intercooler to protect the unit from any other foreign matter damadge ??

You could make one up yourself, or buy one fron Power Engineering about £50 and looks quite smart.
