Hi. Does any one know how to desipher the codes on a scooby plug. I fitted a set of Laser Platinum Plugs coded PFR6B 3500 which were supplied from my local subaru dealer. I told them it was for a UK turbo. I thought that the plugs would be the same on my 95 WRX ra import though the plug I took out appears to be a Platnum tipped NGK R PFR6G. Is the last field the temp range? I would be intersted to know what other users of the same model used since the car seams to have lost a lot of it`s responsivnes since fitting the new plugs. Looks like another £40 quid for the right plugs is in order.

Cool

I intend to try the NGK7 iriway racing plugs next service, apparently it has a wider temperature range, as to why I would need that I dunno .

I dont know about NGK6 platinum, actually I thgt it wasnt the best choice for the Impreza. Not that i know much anyway.
