Hi

Is anyone who has the PE Phase 1 conversion
covered by NU ?

How much did it add to the premium ?

Thanks

Gavin

Gavin, I went with NU for my Scoobysport mods, which they happily covered, by moving the car into grp 19. During the quote I asked about an ECU modification and was told no, due to the increase in power. I realise PE's mod is more of a torque increase as opposed to bhp, but at the end of the day you have to convince the broker and underwriter, who only understand chip=power. I would be suprised if you get away with it.

David, why dont you approach NU, introduce your company and product and try and reach an arrangement over special cover. It would sound better coming from the developer/seller, as opposed from a punter.

Thumbs up

I too plan the PE Phase 1 upgrade for MY94 WRX and am also covered by NU. So any more input on this subject would be welcomed!

I had the Prodrive performance pack and changed it for the PE phase 1. My insurance charged me an extra £30.
