I'm taking my Scooby to the Nurburgring in Germany. I dare not even ask my insurance company. (I have Company Car Innsurance)Can anyone advise me where I can purchase insurance specifically for track days.

Thanks

I seem to remember reading eleswhere that the Nurburgring is not a track - it is a (private?) toll road, so track insurance should not be necessary. Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.

Alan

you don't need insurance for the nurburg. You'll see coaches and caravans driving on it

When are you going? I'm going in mid August.

Thanks

Incidentally..it might be worth checking your company car insurance after all - I did (expecting the worst) and am insured to take it on tracks etc etc.

Not quite,

But the Nurburgring is only open on Wednesdays. We hope to do two laps the evening before and then there should only be a 90% eclipse on the day. Make an ideal location for some moody shots. We'll make up for it in the Mountain passes around Italy/France/Switz

Question

My insurance doesn't exclude it either, but you should always check I guess.
