A bit of topic here but!

I am considering purchasing an imported 96 Legacy GTB sports wagon, having driven a UK spec turbo 2000 5 door (I need the space but crave the performance!). I understand the engine and running gear are basically that of the impreza WRX. Has anybody got any experience with this car. I intend doing 30-40K miles a year in it for work (if I can keep my licence!) So long term reliability and servicing are major issues!

A freind who arranged my WRX import has one. '97ish I think. Better interior, more room (obviously) 2.2l (I think) twin turbo 280PS, goes like stink. Bilstein suspension, climate control, air bag etc. etc.

I think it may be for sale as he's after an EVO (sorry). If you want I'll get you his number.

Looks like I'll be getting one then! I would be interested in a number for your mate and some info on the condition and mileage of his GTB. I need a low mileage one as I am going to pour the miles on!
