Can the rev limit of 7000 rpm be increased on my 5 door WRX? Can the 280 bhp of the 4 door be achieved by re-chiping?

Tony,
Speak to David at PE,280bhp should be NO problem, they've just got 290 bhp out of Bob Rawles' car.I think the rev limit can be changed, but I don't know if they'd recommend it.

Mark.

I can definately confirm that and .... with any luck more to come but enough said on that. My car seems to have the potential to produce a bit more and David is working on improving it. I'll post to the BBS and IWOC once its all completed with the story and the result. the limit is actually 7300 I think but why increase it . Top speed would be 159 mph if you pull the red line in 5th but IMHO there is not much point going beyond 6000 as you are running out of torque.

Bob
