I want to try an ECU reset..

if I disconnect the battery will my alarm go off????

I have a MY99 with Sigma alarm, but no alarm instructions..

Another thread suggest putting the alarm into Valet mode....HOW???

Assuming yours is a std MY99 same as mine..

unlock the car, pop the bonnet and disconnect the battery.

when you reconnect the battery, make sure you have your bleeper at the ready (sometimes the alarm will sound, sometimes not).

all from real life experience !

Does the reset thing actually give any improvments. I may try it on my MY99

on mine is seemed to give a bit more oomph above 4000. That could have been the change to SUL taking effect though...
