I've got a MY00. When cold it seems to hesitate when I’m accelerating slowly. It's fine when the car is warm.

Any ideas?, Is this a common fault?

Mine does that, I keep it under 3000rpm for the first 10 minutes or so when starting from cold, unfortunately the first 10 minutes for me is up a hill, she is allways very hesitant.
Alternatively speak to your dealer............"They all do it sir"

I've noticed this on mine a little, but not for 10 mins. Only mainly when first accelerating away & with the power steering on full lock on a corner within the next 30secs.

I'm going to ask Powerstation to have a look when I'm down there! Will let you know if there's anything.

Mr Gazza, this is a common problem and do a search for hesitation or surging and you'll find many posts on the subject. My car with an AE802 ecu was quite bad so I swapped for a AE801 ecu which reduced the problem dramaticaly. I've recently started adding NF race which seems to have practicaly eliminated it. One quick cure is unplugging your O2 sensor, you might find it runs alot smoother on those short journeys.
