My 96 WRX seems to have "lost" power. It started when a light came up on the dash. Due to it being an import I can't read the manual. The light was a box with 4 squigily lines above it, any ideas what it was, it's now cleared but still lack of power. On tick over the engine is lumpy and is moving about 30mm instead of being steady. Checked the plugs and 1 of them is darker on the tip than the rest ?? There all sparking ok though. The cars only done 12K, someone help or I'm gonna have to pay a fortune to get it looked at.

 

That light is the catalyst warning light - should light up briefly when you start the car as well.
