Alternatively, just remove the servo completely and get used to the permanent hard brake pedal.

Seriously, I'd get it sorted out. A cavalier I once owned had a problem with the check/return valve and after a while the inlet pulses wrecked the diaphragm in the servo and the pedal kicked my foot off it. I was trying to avoid a Transit van in a lane at the time. Thankfully I missed it and thankfully it already had mid-brown velour seats :-)
