I have had a kinda rusty squeeking coming from a rear wheel which has led me to check the bearing which has a bit of play in it which i had adjusted up and now squeeks louder. I have concluded i need a new bearing ...... after ringing around i find that TYPE R bearings are pretty unique and have been quoted prices ranging from £180.00 to £ 111.37 from Roger Clarke the guy there suggested i also need inner and outer seals a new cir-clip and new strike over castle nut which was included in the £111.37 is this a good price or am i getting me pants pulled down?

have a look and get the code off the bearing. Pop down to your local NSK or SKF bearing supplier and say can i have one of these please. I would be suprised if it was more than about £50.

Speak to Graham Goode Racing, (telephone 0116 2440080), and you should get one for around £70 with seals ready for fitting. They also do next day delivery if you are in a hurry.
