I got mine from scott to and fitted it at the weekend, very easy job, even though i did have to solder a socket for the chip in. Difference was instant, feels more torquey through the gears, just need to put my decat downpipe back on for bit more power.

Cheers Scott

Hoping to get later this week.

David,

Nigel Pegg got 290BHP & 286lb/ft with one of mine...
Not sure what the full spec of his car was tho' when it was RR'd.

Mark, you 277BHP was only on o.9BAR tho' wasn't it, or am I thinking of someone else ??

Assuming 25% losses, 303BHP actually

Edited to say also have STI alloy Y piece and Samco hoses to the IC, K+N panel filter with resonator removed and running 75ml NF booster per 50litres Optimax.

Everything else std engine wise.

I'm popping down to PE's rollers soon so i should get more BHP due to location

just to let people with older cars (ie upto and including my96) be aware of scoobyecu's.
i ordered mine from scott taylor and i had in back in days ,the car was a r/roading at 233bhp last month.i popped in the new ecu(very easy job-even for complete novice like myself!) and even though not r/roaded yet for exact figures-i went to the scooby shout-out last sunday....more than than happy with the results.

my friends from hull couldnt believe the times it got-even with a 3/4 tank of gas and my usual full ashtray.

so if you feel the need for some extra zip from yer old girl..get yerself in touch with scott.i can forward his details if you require them.
mine cost £78...it feels like a new car!!
cant wait for the next rolling road:P

scott, rolling road shootout..

yours isnt a scoobyecu though

hows the stress..

I got 290/290bhp in Limp home mode on my car..

Id be very upset with that now..

I estimate 300 - 400 bhp at 9psi at the moment

Oh My god

I just fitted mine this morning and took her for a spin.

What a mod.

If you don't have this mod what the f**k are you waiting for get in contact with one of the boys and make the change.

Ultra smooth, earlier spool up and the acceleration is devastating.

Thanks to David Wallis for being patient with me and for such a fantastic mod.

I am looking at getting one of these for my car, how easy is it for a complete muppet to take out and then re-fit? I am scared sh**less that I screw up the car.

The only tricky bit is if you need to solder in a socket.

If not, or after that, it's just static you need o watch out ofr!

Yes, easy half hour job really.
