I have had my MY99 since early Jan and have covered 8K. @ the 7.5k service I was advised that the front pads would need changing in approx 2k. I do a lot of varied driving but do not consider myself to have a heavy braking foot so I wonder if any one else has experienced this or is it a by-product of 4 pots?
Also, any idea / recomendations on pads & costs would be appreciated

The standard pads feel very soft and are not prone to glazing.

This gives exceptional braking from stone cold, but causes a higher rate of wear when they are hot.

If you are using pads this quickly, consider replacing them with a pad that has a higher temperature spread.
